Children

Nursery (Ages 0-2)

A safe, staffed nursery is provided throughout our Sunday services for children through two years of age. A nursing room is available for mothers with infants.

Children (Ages 3-12)

Teaching the next generation about the Lord is one of the most important ministries we have at Community Bible Church. Children are a blessing from the Lord and we seek to train them in His ways, on a level they can understand.  Children are taught Bible truths using age-appropriate activities and lessons and are encouraged to apply them to real life .

Our Sunday school classes are taught by dedicated, mature teachers who love Jesus and love kids.  We are dedicated to partnering with parents in sharing God's love with young hearts, and to build those same children into teenagers who love and serve God, proclaiming His good news.

We often use Deep Blue: One Room Sunday School and/or Group Publishing’s Simply Loved curriculum, which incorporate Bible stories, activities, crafts, media, and games into a full-faith experience for children. With Deep Blue and/or Simply Loved, children develop the skills to unlock the Bible message and grow their faith by leaps and bounds.

On Sundays, we provide great opportunities for kids from 10 am to 12 pm.  Learn more about our Sunday services.

Youth (13 and up)

Youth ages 13 and older attend our adult Bible class and sermon.  Pastor Chad and our Bible class teachers purposely speak to all generations in attendance.

Participating in Bible class encourages youth to study the Bible themselves and be trained in understanding and applying the Word.  Hearing the Word of God preached in a Bible-driven sermon encourages youth to build a relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith.  Gathering with the adults for services purposely connects youth with the larger body of Christ and fosters the opportunity for all in attendance to grow together in our love for Jesus.

A note to parents.  We believe that parents are the best teacher for a child and that our role is to come alongside in a secondary manner to encourage and equip your family. So, we encourage parents to take an active role in the discipleship of their kids by:

  • Growing spiritually and setting a great example for their kids.

  • Being involved in the church process and displaying a strong love and commitment to the local church.

  • Being involved with their child’s discipleship by knowing and communicating any concerns or needs to adult volunteers in our ministry.

  • Being present in the lives of their kids (both physically and emotionally)!
